Can't they make anything easy or cost-effective for repeat customers? I've spent hundreds on this da*n game. Considering Valve provide a Steam key service for developers and third party sellers to use 'for free' this should be easy to implement, especially considering that you could once activate your Steam keys for an. Not an encouraging option, because EA is still trying to make more money off porting the game to Steam when we've already paid for the base. Hey PalumLP101 it is not possible to transfer games from Origin to any other service including Steam. Then all the expansions, game packs, and stuff packs are able to play with Steam. UPDATE: Found out that the only way to play TS4 on Steam. Open up Steam and click on Play that is far from everything needed to even see 'Play' for already-purchased EA games on Steam. Instructions for Steam need to be clear, because what I saw was very incomplete on Origin's part. I'm not buying everything all over again to do it, either that would be insane! I've had so many unanswered issues with Origin and would love to move away from that platform. This adds an extra process running on my computer, and I don't appreciate that at all. Makes no sense to use Steam and have Origin at the same time. If they're going to do this, they need to do it correctly and ORIGIN step out of the picture. Don't ask me how I did this, but it had something to do with Steam opening up a copy of 'Programs and Features'. Why did EA/Origin tell us to start porting over to Steam, then the instructions were so poor? I did manage to try to run The Sims 4 from Steam, and it opened Origin and tried to launch the game.
